  • Single-use only.
  • Stainless steel blade fitted to a plastic handle.
  • No blade fitting or removal required, so contaminated blades are not handled.
  • Graduated scale on the handle for approximate measurement of the incision.
  • Polythene blade guard that protects the blade before use and covers it after use for disposal in the operating theatre disposal container.
  • Individually packed in a peel pack of medical-grade paper.
